Top 5 Must-Watch One Piece arcs

As we navigate the vast seas of One Piece, we will embark ourselves in countless adventures, some more dangerous than the others. Today, we set our course to explore the arcs that have captivated my heart over the years. From the sands of Alabasta to the heights of Skypiea, join us for epic battles, daring rescues and heartful moments on the One Piece's top 5 arcs.

Skypiea Arc: A Journey to the Sky Island

Before you scroll away, we know what you’re thinking. “A filler arc in the top five!” You must think we’re crazy. And we might be! This arc takes us to the skies along the upstream, to the floating island of Skypiea. Here God rules with an iron first (or should we say a lightning fist), and demands the worship of the citizens or else they feel his divine wrath. Whilst still early on their Grandline adventure, the Strawhats must fight their way through the trials set before them.

While others might tell you to skip, to not waste your time. Here at StrawHat Central we implore you to stick through it. We promise that this is one arc you won’t forget.

Dressrosa Arc: The Secret of the Land of Toys

The country of toys and love. In Dressrosa, everyone shares in the vast riches and kindness the country has to offer. But if you were to visit you would notice something is odd about this place. Living toys wander the streets. They play with the kids, they spend time with the men and women of Dressrosa like old friends. But there is only one rule: Toys are not allowed to enter the homes of the people.

This is enforced by Doflamingo, one of the seven warlords of the sea, king of Dressrosa, mastermind of the underworld, and his band of misfits. While on the surface it may seem like everyone is happy, a dark secret looms over the people. It is up to Luffy, the Strawhats, and their unlikely ally Trafalgar Law to set these people free from the torment that they might not even know is happening right under their noses.

Hurry up and watch because the young master awaits you in Dressrosa, and he does not like to be kept waiting.

Marineford Arc: The War of the Best

The Battle of the Best awaits you in this arc. On one side the Best the Marines have to offer, and on the other one of the four emperors, White Beard and his crew the White Beard pirates. Caught in the middle, is our little friend StrawHat Luffy. His goal: Save his brother Ace from the marines at all cost. This action packed arc is filled to the brim. Power, struggle, love, loss, betrayal, and loyalty.

You won’t want to miss a second of this Arc. We know we’ll be cheering on Luffy from the sidelines no matter what is thrown his way.

Enies Lobby Arc: The Straw Hats' Rescue Mission

With new members of the Strawhat crew on the horizon we turn our heads to Enies Lobby. Robin and Franky have been taken and Luffy will do anything he needs to to get them back. Luffy brings his crew by means of sea-train and allies himself with the King of Snipers, Sogeking, to rescue his friends. Can he get to Robin before she passes through the gates of Justice? With the power of the secret government organization CP-9 opposing him, this might be a task not so easily taken.

What would you do if your friend turned to you and said they didn’t want to be saved from certain death? Tune in and find out what Luffy says when he comes face to face with the hard truth.

Alabasta Arc: War and Deception in the Desert

For our number one pick here at StrawHat Central, we chose the arc that we believe best embodies One Piece as a whole. With the goofiness of the Strawhats and the seriousness of royalty, this Arc takes us to the desert kingdom of Alabasta. Here Luffy is dead set on facing off against another warlord of the sea, Crocodile. With the power to manipulate sand, Crocodile has found the perfect place to set up shop and plans to overthrow the King. Luckily, the King’s daughter, Princess Vivi, runs into the Strawhat crew. Together they come up with a plan to not only defeat the warlord but to also restore peace throughout the kingdom.

We promise that this arc will have you on the edge of your seats cheering on the crew as they face their toughest challenge up to date.

Overall, we at StrawHat Central hold every arc in our hearts. To us, every single one of them is just as important as the last. Whether it brings us joy or brings us to tears every episode provides something new. You might think that 1100 episodes is too much but we think that it just isn’t enough. But don’t take our word for it. Dive into the world today and experience it for yourself. There’s no better time than the present. Just remember “THE ONE PIECE IS REAL!!”, you just have to stick around to find out what it is!
